What happens at your home visit
- The first visit includes taking a full medical history and neurovascular assessment of your feet, as well as assessment to diagnose and discuss your foot problem. We will then discuss your treatment options and begin the treatment plan.
- I will always provide necessary referrals to podiatry/chiropody or your GP if your foot care needs exceed the scope of a foot health practitioner.
- Payment is requested at the end of the appointment either by cash, cheque or BACS payment.
- All instruments are packaged in sets and sterilised by autoclave, following strict infection control guidelines.

About The Foot Nurse
Camilla Winson
I have been a qualified nurse since 1998 and realised my passion for elderly care very early on in my nursing career. I have many years' experience looking after patients who are diabetic and the associated problems and risks they encounter with their foot health. This led me to develop a special interest in the importance of foot care in general, so I undertook specialist training at The SMAE Institute, enabling me to provide essential foot care services to clients in their own homes, such as toenail cutting, corn removal, callus removal, reducing thickened nails as well as foot health assessment and education, at an affordable price.
I am committed to delivering compassionate, outstanding care, using a personal approach. My goal is to improve and maintain your overall foot health and to empower you with an understanding of your condition and treatment plan.
